Hint 1 of 17:

Look closely at the base of the pool statue.

Hint 2 of 17:

The first symbol represents a pot of salt water.

Hint 3 of 17:

The second symbols represents tears.

Hint 4 of 17:

The third symbol stands for an ear of corn in the hand.

Hint 5 of 17:

The last symbol is a man drinking fresh water.

Hint 6 of 17:

You can get the pot from the cave.  (Take all of them.)

Hint 7 of 17:

Fill the pot with salt water from the pool.

Hint 8 of 17:

You can get tears by using the comb on on the bowl.  (You have to stand near
the bowl for this to happen.)

Hint 9 of 17:

Did you find a basket in the cave?

Hint 10 of 17:

Have you looked in the basket, carefully?  (You can open the basket, and turn
it in the picture.)

Hint 11 of 17:

Corn needs moist ground in which to grow.

Hint 12 of 17:

Plant the corn kernel in the ground outside of the cave, where the dripping
water dampens the earth.

Hint 13 of 17:

Take the rapidly grown ear of corn.

Hint 14 of 17:

Get pool water with the pot, and pour it into the bowl.

Hint 15 of 17:

Use the comb on the bowl to cry into the bowl.

Hint 16 of 17:

Put the ear of corn into the hand of the statue.

Hint 17 of 17:

Make sure the statue has the crying face turned forward.
